Niko's Sheet: Influence, Be Rock n Roll

Is rock n roll really dying? Is it even dead already?
No.
Rock n Roll's alive and well. Rock n Roll's still among the hearts - of the few that is. Rock n Roll - the genre, the lifestyle, is now just like an old toolbox in your garage. Covered in dust, greasy perhaps. Rock n Roll's not dead, but is slowly forgotten; fading.

It just takes a curious kid to find that old tool box and use it to discover, to create something by using those greasy tools from that one old tool box, metaphorically speaking - Rock n Roll needs a whole new kind of generation and appreciation for IT to remain. Because it would be a shame to lose such genre. It's like losing your favorite childhood toy and replacing it with a new one. It could be alike, but it wouldn't feel like the old one, the one that you've lost.

Yes, I'm sorry for turning this shit into a long read, if not, a waste of time.

My point is that; we don't need to save rock n roll from dying because, Rock n Roll is forever. What we need to do is - to spread it out, let it be known by all of them party fuckers, those who haven't heard of rock n roll. Let rock n roll be a "medium". Let it be associated with this hopeless generation and to the next. Let rock n roll feel alive not dying. Let's not make it feel like it's forgotten. Let rock n roll be rock n roll. But yes, let's not bring back those glamorous, hideous hairstyles they are merely a façade, form of expression- a fashion statement rather than a form of passion.  But, let us appreciate the classic. And so, as I'm about to conclude, I want you to remember this shit:

"Influence, Be Rock n Roll"

Understand this shit deeper. And soon enough, you'll be.

So turn that volume gauge up.

Peace, Love and Everything.

Niko's Sheet: It's Not Just Another Band

The first installment of the column It's Not Just Another Band is here! A collection of how much a band means to you compiled by Niko of Ground Zero.

Inspired by how much we don't give a crap about celebrities, oral sex and violence at a condo unit, we prefer to talk about how much  music saved us from all the bullshit lemons life gave us. Either you make lemonades or pair it with tequila, that is so not our business as longs as you express yourself in a healthy manner such us telling us a bit about you.

xo,
L

Sunday Playlist: Birthday Special

Niña Hamili Piao, RN
You know loves, just because we started off the year with a metal band doesn't mean we don't have a soft spot for mellow heart-wrenching music. This digital site/magazine is all about music with no exception, except though if you really hate music then consider yourself dead . So expect that one of these days we'll come prying on your personal life via the music you have on your iPod.

So, from the bottom of my tiny little black heart. Happy Birthday to one of the most genuine person in our teensy weensy little town , I mean city (I keep on forgetting!).

Niña's Playlist:
  1. The Man Who Can't Be Moved - The Script
  2. Breakeven - The Script
  3. Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
  4. Someday We'll Know - Mandy Moore feat. Jonathan Foreman (This I have to Google, I forgot this song exists!)
  5. True Colors - Cyndi Lauper (She sang the original version? Hello, Phil Collins)
